Ris (Lynx lynx) je najveća mačka i jedna od najzanimljivijih zvijeri u Europi. Dužina tijela im je do 1,30 metara, uz dodatak repa od 11 do 25 cm, prosječne težine do 25 kg. Karakteristični znaci prepoznavanja su šiljaste uši s čuperkom dlake na vrhu i kratak rep. Krzno im je žućkasto do sivo, prošarano tamnijim pjegama ili prugama, kao i druge mačke ima oštre pandže. Ris je zvijer koja se dobro penje i skače, lovi u sumrak ili noću čekajući plijen, često prikriven u krošnji drveta. Ima vrlo oštar vid i istančan sluh. Hrani se uglavnom kozama, divokozama i srnama te drugim nižim vrstama divljači. Plijen ubija odmah, a ako sve ne pojede vraća se dovršiti započeto. Mužjak i ženka risa susreću se kratko radi parenja između siječnja i travnja. Nakon deset tjedana ženka okoti dvoje ili troje mladunaca koji ostaju uz majku do sljedećeg proljeća. Ris je ugrožena vrsta predatora koja je u BiH izumrla prije 50-ak godina zbog nekontroliranog izlova. Danas ponovno naseljava lovišta Bosne i Hercegovine. Their fur is yellowish to gray, mottled darker spots or stripes, as well as the other cats have sharp claws. Lynx is a beast that is a good climber and jumper, hunts at dusk or at night waiting for prey, often disguised in a treetop. It has very sharp eyesight and keen hearing. It feeds mainly goats, chamois, deer and other inferior types of wildlife. Prey killed instantly, and if not eaten all returns to finish the job. Male and female lynx meet briefly for mating between January and April. After ten weeks the female give birth two or three cubs who stay with their mother until the following spring. Lynx is an endangered species of predators that BiH became extinct some 50-odd years because of uncontrolled hunting. Today, once again inhabits hunting Bosnia and Herzegovina. Smokva (Ficus carica) cijenjeno je južno voće koje simbolizira život, mir, blagostanje i plodnost. Vjeruje se da potječe iz Egipta, odakle je stigla na Krit, a oko 9. stoljeća prije nove ere, u staru Grčku. Smokva je hrana pustinjaka i sveto drvo mnogih predaja. Stari Grci su je izrazito poštovali, u Rimu su je smatrali svetim voćem u čijoj sjeni se odmarala vučica koja je hranila Romula i Rema, a Adam i Eva su od listova smokve načinili sebi pregače. Smokva sadrži i do 80% vode, a istovremeno je voće s najvišom razinom prirodnih šećera. Izuzetan je izvor energije, potiče rad mozga, koncentraciju i pamćenje. Šipak, mogranj ili nar (Punica granatum) trnovit je grm koji uspijeva u priobalnim područjima s toplijom klimom. Biljka ima uspravne i razgranate grane, a stanište joj je osunčano s visokim temperaturama. Zahtijeva vodopropusno tlo, jer biljka ne voli mnogo vlage. Cvate bijelim, žutim ili crvenim cvijetom od lipnja do kolovoza. Veliki okrugli plod, izvana kožnat, a unutra ispunjen ukusnim sjemenkama, javlja se u kasnu jesen.
