Yatagan, as a cold weapon of oriental origin, was commonly used among all peoples in the Balkans, and especially in Dalmatia, Bosnia, Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, Boka, Albania and other. It came to the Balkans via the Ottoman Empire, and each yatagan is handmade and thus unique. They are usually divided into dark and white-hilted ones by the color of a horn or bone handle.
The Dalmatian yatagan M 1869 is a unique model of the world's cold weapon, since these are no longer unique but semi-industrially or semi-manufactory made pieces which involve serial production of identical pieces in terms of their dimensions, appearance and weight, and serial number and unit designations. Also, the handle is made of man-made bakelite derivatives, so it is unique and avant-garde in this respect as well. All known pieces of yataghan M 1869 have an army inventory stamp consisting of the name of the battalion and the number of weapons in the unit, and some of these figures are high and it can be inferred that all the domobrans were armed with such weapons. The image of the Austro-Hungarian military painter Julius von Blaas depicting the attack of the 79th Battalion (led by a local resident) on Livno during the occupation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in 1878 testifies to this. Croatian Post Mostar has issued a regular postage stamp in a sheet 8, a postmark and first day cover (FDC).

HP MOSTAR Međunarodni dan kulturne baštine / World Heritage Day
Akademski slikar i likovni pedagog Ivica Vlašić u svom umjetničkom opusu najčešće slika pejzaže i konje te idiličnu ljepotu prirode livanjskog kraja koju, kroz svoja djela, ostavlja svima nama u kulturno naslijeđe.

Cultural heritage is unique and irreplaceable and as such it represents the value that must be preserved for future generations. In his artistic oeuvre, academy-trained painter and art pedagogue Ivica Vlašić mostly paints landscapes and horses and the idyllic beauty of nature of the Livno region, leaving it through his works to all of us as cultural heritage.
Ivica Vlašić (born 23 November 1954 in Vareš, living and working in Livno) graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo in 1976. That same year he went on a study trip to Paris, and in 1981, as a holder of the Polish government scholarship, he specialized in painting in Warsaw. His works exude respect for the world around us. The idyllic nature, tranquillity of winter idyll or lush vegetation and unrestrained horses are an everlasting source of inspiration for an artist who captures a moment of beauty for us to enjoy it. He has had more over 50 solo exhibitions and participated in more than 150 group exhibitions. He has been included in the Encyclopaedia of Croatian Fine Arts in 1996 and in 1997 in the National Graphics Collection of the Croatian Club for International Cooperation as "aetas aurea of Croatian graphics". His paintings are held in museums, galleries and private collections around the world. He has been awarded numerous honours and awards, he is the organizer of and participant in numerous art colonies, many of which are humanitarian.
Croatian Post Ltd. Mostar has issued a commemorative postage stamp in a sheet of 9 stamps, a postmark and first day cover (FDC).

ARHITEKTURA HP MOSTAR 2019. Mostovi / ARCHITECTURE 2019. Bridges
Poznati Stari most sagrađen je 1566. po nalogu osmanskog sultana Sulejmana Veličanstvenog. Dolaskom austro-ugarske uprave 1878. grad doživljava snažan graditeljski procvat. U to vrijeme sagrađena su tri mosta: Most cara i kralja Franje Josipa, Lučki most i Carinski most.
Lučki most (1912.
Carinski most (1916.
Bridges are symbols of Mostar, a town on the river Neretva which is economic, university and cultural center of Herzegovina. According to the available sources it was first mentioned on April 3,1452. in the records of merchants from Dubrovnik mentioning the transition over the river Neretva. It was probably a bridge with wooden construction with strong iron chains. Well known the Old bridge was built in 1566., by order of Ottoman Sultan Suleyman Majestic. With the arrival of Austro-Hungarian administration in 1878., a town is experiencing strong architectural bloom. At that time, three bridges were built: The Emperor and King Franz Joseph bridge, Port bridge and Carinski (emperor’s) bridge.
The Port bridge (1912. - 1913.) was the first reinforced concrete bridge built in B&H and also a major architectural project of that time. It was built according to the original project of engineer Miloš Komadina and at the initiative of the city mayor of Mostar Mujaga Komadina. It had a wide road, pavement and at the beginnings of the bridge two lamps (two candelabras).
Carinski (Emperor’s) bridge (1916. - 1917.) was built according to the original project of engineer Miloš Komadina. It was used both for car and rail traffic and railways were included on the bridge for narrow and normal pavement. The bridge was built with richly decorated fences and kiosks on two arches. An arch over the river Neretva had a range of 56m and over the coast 35m.

HP MOSTAR - Arheološko blago - Katakombe u Jajcu / Archeological treasure - Catacombs in Jajce
Katakombe u Jajcu, kršćanska vjerska građevina, nacionalni je spomenik Bosne i Hercegovine. U pisanim izvorima Jajce se prvi put spominje 1396. godine u vrijeme vladavine Hrvoja Vukčića Hrvatinića kada grad doživljava politički i kulturni razvoj.
Catacombs in Jajce, a Christian religious building, are a national monument of Bosnia and Herzegovina. In written records name Jajce was first mentioned in 1396 in the time of the rule of Hrvoje Vukčić Hrvatinić when the town is experiencing political and cultural development. It is assumed that at that time catacombs were built in the living rock as a tomb for him and his family. In front of the entrance to the narthex (entrance porch), on the rock in the lobby on the left and right side of the door, two unfinished figures are engraved. The male figure holds the lowered sword in the left hand with a coat of arms, probably a coat of Hrvoje Vukčić Hrvatinić. Engraved female figure has a heraldic mark in her left hand. Narthex, from which enters the main part of the room, is partially built with the stone and covered with a barrel vault. Above the baptistery there are bow openings. In the main part of the church, along the side walls, tombs are located on the floor. On the left side there is a hollow on which a double cross is engraved, and to the right and left from it there are the sun and the crescent moon. From the main room the four pillar goes into the crypt with an altar that has perforation in the form of a double cross, also with the sun and the crescent moon.

HP MOSTAR 28.1.2019. Europski dan zaštite osobnih podataka - European Data Protection Day
European Data Protection Day, that was proclaimed by the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe, was celebrated for the first time in 2007. The first and main goal was to familiarize european citizens with the reasons and methods of collection and processing of personal data, and also with their rights and obilgations.
In countries of the European Union, General Data Protection Regulation(GDPR) has enterd into force, and according to this regulation personal information is any information that may be identified to a person. This regulation applies to all countries outside the European Union that use data from european citizens or sell goods or services to them. Through this regulation, citizens have a simpler access to their data and possibilities of being informed about the manner and in which purposes the data is being processed. Also the „Right to be Forgotten“ was introduced, or in other words it is possible for an examinee to request from a company and organization to delete his/her data, under the conditions that there are no legal reasons for retainment. A specific group represent children and youngsters that are considered especially vulnerable because they often are not aware of the threats they are exposed to upon incautious managing of their personal information.

Philately Liechtenstein WWF 2017.
With over one billion stamps printed, the WWF stamp collection is the largest thematic collection in the world. In its latest WWF issue, Philately Liechtenstein is showing four wildlife species which were long believed to be extinct but have “Beaver” (face value: CHF 0.85), “Lynx” (face value: CHF 1.00), “Wolf” (face value: CHF 1.30) and “Stork” (face value: CHF 1.50).
The beaver found its way back to Liechtenstein in 2008 and has been propagating continually since then. But it finds only few natural areas in the valley where it can build its habitat as it pleases. Lynx were actively reintroduced to Switzerland in 1971 and have been spreading in the Principality since that date. Wolves have been migrating into Switzerland from the south since the 1990s. They live nearby in the Calanda region as well as in other places. In recent years, wolves were seen on four different unconfirmed occasions. Due to the efforts of various organisations, a stork couple made Liechtenstein their home in 2007 – for the first time in over 100 years. In the meantime, Liechtenstein counts sixteen stork nests.
